K-pop band Tomorrow X Together (TXT) today (November 4, 2024) released their seventh mini-album, The Star Chapter: Sanctuary. The six-track album adds a new dimension to the journey of TXT members – Yeonjun, Hueningkai, Soobin (leader), Taehyun and Beomgyu – from adolescence to adulthood.
With “Over the Moon” as the title track, the members explore the 2000s R&B sound with their new album. The members are entering adulthood, and this is reflected in the lyrics, which have now become more subtle and mature, without losing their innocence.
Exploring the theme of love in many forms, TXT kicks off the new album with the track “Heaven”, perhaps the most pop-sounding track in this chapter. The members’ breathy soft voices blend well with the instruments as the lyrics “You make it, you make it feel like heaven” keep playing in your head. The soothing rhythm of the song makes it a great opening song.
This is followed by “Over the Moon” where one talks about imagining a future with their loved ones. The R&B influence on this track is absolutely unforgettable, especially when the chorus’s lyrics “Over the moon, over the stars, now I just wanna hold you in my arms,” play along with the guitar riff.
“Danger” is the third track on the album, which also features lyrics by Yeonjun, Taehyun, and Beomgyu. This is probably one of the most exciting tracks on the album which tells about a deep growing love. If there’s one song on the album that really seems to be influenced by the R&B sound, it’s “Danger”.

“Danger” blends seamlessly into the album’s fourth song, “Resist (Not Gonna Run Away)”, where the members explore the idea of keeping love close to you. This is one of those songs you can’t stop yourself from listening to – thanks to its playful use of acoustic guitar as heartfelt lyrics promise unity.
The fifth song on the album is titled “Forty One Winks”, which is a departure from the pace of the previous few songs and is softer with an expression of love in a more intimate and private setting.
“Higher Than Heaven” concludes this chapter. Taehyung participated in the writing of this song. The song blends rock and R&B sounds to create a more playful and high-energy song. The way the members sing “Higher… higher than heaven” in the chorus is addictive and will probably stay in your mind rent-free for some time.

This new album from TXT is really designed to highlight that the fourth generation group can do anything and when it comes to displaying adulthood in their early 20s, there’s no one better than them!
This is the new chapter of TXT after the conclusion of Minisode:3.
