Tollywood workers’ strike ends after 18 days, Chiranjeevi Thank you Revanath Reddy

The 18-day strike of the Film Federation employees has finally ended. Telangana Chief Minister Revanath Reddy intervened to pave the way for a cordial solution.

The 18-day strike in the Telugu film industry has ended, in which the film Federation employees have called for a strike following the intervention of the Chief Minister of Telangana. Strike, which interrupted the film shoot across the state, was decided after the convenience by the Additional Labor Commissioner. Megastar Chiranjeevi shared a thanksful note for renovating Reddy to settle the issue in a cordial manner.

The Federation of employees of the film industry demanded an increase in 30 percent wages, as the strike began, which was initially rejected by the filmmakers. A success was achieved when Dil Raju, president of the Telangana Film Development Corporation, led the conversation, resulting in an agreement. The agreement provides 22.5 percent increases in three years, starting with a 15 percent increase in the first year.

During talks held on Thursday at the Labor Office, the two sides agreed to a structured wage hike. The revised scheme includes an initial 15 percent increase, followed by 2.5 percent and 5 percent in two years. Additional Labor Commissioner, Gangadhar played an important role in the mediation of discussions on a satisfactory conclusion.

Megastar Chiranjeevi thanked Reventh Reddy in an X post in Telugu. His thanks to the thanks-note has been lax translated, “I express my gratitude to the Honorable Chief Minister of Telangana, Mr. Revent Reddy, to resolve the issue of a highly complex industry in a very harmonious way, ensure justice for both producers and workers.”

Producer Dil Raju said that Chief Minister Revantha Reddy had instructed him to ensure that all the parties be confident in the resolution. The Chief Minister’s point of view included Hyderabad to convert Hyderabad into a global center for the film shoot, a goal that depends on the stable industry situations.

Manufacturer Srinivasa Kumar, known as SKN in the X post, said that in the end the strike is a pleasant news for producers. He wrote, “The 18 -day strike ended. And a happy note for all producers (SICs).”

In his comment, producer Dil Raju assured the film community of full government support, which reflects the administration’s intention to promote a favorable environment for the industry. For 18 days, several production houses stopped shooting, resulting in damage. The Producers Association also called people who are not part of the Sangh to work for them and started a portal for the same.

With the end of the strike, the firing will begin in a complete manner.
