Tollywood actors Chiranjeevi, Ali and others contribute to Telangana CM Relief Fund

Several prominent figures from the Telugu film industry, including actors Chiranjeevi, Ali and Vishwak Sen, have contributed to the Telangana Chief Minister’s Relief Fund (CMRF) to support welfare and relief efforts following the recent floods. They personally handed over the cheques to Chief Minister Revanth Reddy.

Several prominent personalities from the film industry and trade sector have come forward to contribute to Telangana Chief Minister’s Relief Fund (CMRF) in support of various welfare and relief efforts. Recently, several areas in Telangana were hit by floods, where torrential rains claimed 35 lives, damaged roads, submerged railway tracks and inundated thousands of acres of crops.

showing the way, Tollywood megastar Chiranjeevi donated Rs 50 lakh to the fundBesides this, Chiranjeevi also handed over Rs 50 lakh on behalf of his son, actor Ram Charan, taking their collective contribution to Rs 1 crore. Chiranjeevi personally met Chief Minister Revanth Reddy at his residence in Jubilee Hills and handed over two cheques to him.

Former minister and influential businesswoman Galla Aruna Kumari, representing the Amara Raja Group, made a significant contribution of Rs 1 crore to the CMRF. This donation further underlines the growing support of the business community towards the state’s welfare programmes.

The film industry made its strong presence felt, with actor Ali coming forward and donating Rs 3 lakh to the fund, while emerging actor Vishwak Sen contributed Rs 10 lakh.

Chief Minister Revanth Reddy expressed his gratitude to the celebrities and business leaders for their heartfelt contributions. He highlighted that these funds would be crucial in helping those in need, especially in times of crisis.
