Actor Tobey Maguire was recently spotted with actor and model Lily Chee. Not only did this spark dating rumours of them, but the 47-year-old actor was also trolled for dating a younger girl who is 20 years old – just three years older than his daughter. Amid the trolling, Maguire’s ex-wife Jennifer Meyer has responded to the trolls.

Responding to a now-deleted comment about Tobey Maguire’s alleged affair with a young actor and model, Meyer wrote on Instagram, “I don’t usually respond to crap like this but he was being a nice guy helping a friend with her car (sic),” according to a screenshot shared on Reddit. “And now he’s getting flak online for dating someone he’s not. But thank you for your rude comment. I hope it made you feel better today. Wishing you love and light (sic),” it further wrote.

She also dismissed the speculation in a separate comment, writing, “I’m stepping away from this. But don’t believe everything you read (I’m sure you were taught that somewhere). Toby is a good guy (sic).”
