Zoho founder Sridhar Weambu has predicted that Artificial Intelligence (AI) will take over more than 90 percent programming work by abolishing repeating work.
“When people say ‘I will write 90 percent of the AI code’ I easily agree because the programmer is written on the ‘boiler plate’,” X (East Twitter).
He said, “Programming has” essential complexity “and then there is a lot of” casual complexity “(it is a boiler plate accessory) and it is a very old knowledge of the mythological man month.”
According to Mr. Vambu, while AI effectively removes accidental complexity, human expertise is necessary to deal with the main challenges.
“In short, AI can create a minimet of already discovered patterns (by humans). Can it find a completely new pattern?”

Mr. Wambu stepped into January as CEO of Software Major to focus on the initiative of research and development, especially with the arrival of AI.
He said, “In view of various challenges and opportunities facing us, including recent major developments in AI, it has been decided that it is best that I should focus on the R&D initiative, along with pursuing my personal rural development mission.”

‘Low software engineer’
Former Zoho CEO is not the only technical leader who plays a warning vine for Kodar. Openai CEO Sam Altman has stated that the development of AI models may eventually reduce the need for software engineers.
“Each software engineer will just do a lot for some time,” Mr. Altman said in an interview recently. “And then at some point, yes, perhaps we need less software engineers.”
Mr. Altman said that in many companies, at least half of the code was already being written by AI. “I think it is probably 50 percent in many companies,” he said, “He said, saying that the next jump-” Agentic coding “- is also on the horizon.”
