Kamal Haasan and Mani Ratnam’s ‘Thug Life’ has got social media with all kinds of reviews. While a section of the audience seems mighty from the script, visual effect and solid performance by Hassan and Silambarson TR, another section feels that it is just an average recreational.
On social media, a user criticized the alleged negative promotion of the film and wrote in the review, “The film is just very good. Friends are not confident that negative reviews they pay and look with family and look with family. It gives Goosebumps in #Kamalhasan King Always (SIC) in theaters.”
Another user who saw the first day of the film watched, wrote that despite a strong note starting between the film ‘Lags’, there is ‘Lags’ in the middle. His first half of the film read in his review, “The #Thuglife review first half is civilized. Well starts, but then it occurs in some intervals. #Kamalhaasan shines and his de-aging is done neatly. #Silaambarasantr is fire.

The ‘Thug Life’ has hit the screen amidst a grand discussion, and Hassan’s’ Kannada was born out of Tamil. Mani Ratnam direction has been banned in Karnataka.
However, most business experts suggest that the decision is hardly impressed at the overall box office of the film. Talking to India today, business experts predicted the inauguration of Rs 30-40 crore for the film across the country on Thursday, which was with Rs 20-25 crore from the Tamil market alone.
