Thug Life Trailer: Kamal Haasan Mani Ratnam is ready to fight death in action
The much awaited trailer of Kamal Haasan and Mani Ratnam’s ‘Thug Life’ is outside. Also starring Trisha Krishnan and Silambols in Pivolell Rolls, the trailer was launched in a grand event on 17 May.

The trailer of Kamal Haasan and Mani Ratnam’s much awaited gangster drama ‘Thug Life’ was unveiled on Saturday. Touched as one of the biggest releases of Kollywood, the film, including Trisha Krishnan and Silambarson TR, is a stellar dress artist. With music composed by veteran AR Rahman, ‘Thug Life’ is slang for a grand dramatic release in June 2025.
The upcoming film’s production house, Raj Kamal Films International shared the trailer on its official X handle. The two -minute clip opens with a blind striking and opposite background, which appears to be a bond in the form of a father and son, introduces Kamal Haasan and Silambanson (symbu) in.
Kamal’s character reflects how Amar (starred by Simbu) once saved his life and his fate was deeply linked. However, the story soon takes a dark turn because both find themselves on the opposing sides, ready to fight each other, even though it means to face death.

The story of ‘Thug Life’ is written by Kamal Haasan, who also serves as the producer and prominent actor of the film. Artists of artists include Trisha, Abhiram, Nasar, Ali Fazal, Pankaj Tripathi, Gautam Karthik, Jujo George, Aishwarya Lakshmi and Vaiyapuri.
