Thudram is a Malayalam Crime Thriller, who hit a large screen on 25 April 2025. Directed by Tharun Murthy, the film became a mega blockbuster, earning around Rs 225 crore worldwide. While fans have been waiting for an update on their OTT release for a long time, it is finally here.
When and where to see thudram
Thudram will start streaming at Jiohotstar from May 30, 2025. The announcement on the X account of the OTT Giant was read in the post, “Thudram will streaming only on jiohotstar from May 30.”

Official trailer and thudram plot
The story of Thaudram revolves around Shanmugham, which is also known as Benz. He enjoys a simple life as a taxi driver. Once a stuntman, he left films after losing his friend Ambu in a tragic accident. The world of Benz revolves around his wife Lalita, his two children and his nutritious ambassador car.
But everything changes when his car is confiscated after inadvertently used in a drug smuggling case. In a shocking turn, the police had hidden someone’s body in their vehicle and forced it to help it deal with. Later, Benz discovered that the body was his missing son, Pavi. His child was killed by the police and Benz implicated his heinous crime to cover. The destroyed and angry, Benz fights back.
Cast and Crew of Thudram
In Thaudram, Mohanlal is shown as Shanmugham. Shobana plays his wife, while Thomas Mathew plays her only son. Amrita Varshini appears as Pavithra, the daughter of Benz. Prakash Verma has played the role of powerful and corrupt CI George Mathan, and Binu Pappu C. Beni C. Kurien played the role.
Farhan Fasil depicted CPO Sudhesh. Supporting roles include Manianpila Raju as a hut, Shaji as Irshad, Mary, George’s daughter, Arsha Chandni Buyuju and Pavi’s friend Sartha Pratap as Kiran. The scenes of the film are captured by cinematographer Shaji Kumar, while the editing duties are handled by Nishad Yusuf and Shafiq VB, on the other hand, the score is composed by Jake Jake Bayjoy.
