Thruobac: When Rajinikanth opened about why he would not remake Amitabh Bachchan’s Cheni Kum

Superstar Rajinikanth, who made his debut in 1975, became one of the biggest names in Indian cinema in the last 50 years. The actor has created a place for himself with his unique style in commercial films.

The actor finds it quite harsh about such films, which he wishes to make, which in 2010 of Ace’s director. It was evident from a conversation with Balchender. Speaking to the Apoorva Ragangal director during the Directors Union Celebration Event, why did Rajinikanth answer Balchandar’s question that he could never remake Amitabh Bachan’s 2007 film.

The jailer actor said that his satisfaction does not come from making films that tap in his artistic side. Instead, he prefers to focus on large commercial undertakings, stating that he is personally fond of such films. While he admitted that Chene Kum himself is a commercial film, his interest lies in big business films than his life.

When asked about the tasks, they believe that Rajinikanth named three films, which satisfied his artistic, spiritual and commercial aspects. He cited the 1985 film Mr. Raghavendra, the 1995 film Basha and the 2010 film Thron.

The actor has consistently demonstrated his deeper understanding of viewers’ preferences, successfully combining the professional appeal with a developed taste. Rajinikanth also said that when he would like to win a national award for the best actor, the result eventually depends on working with the correct types of directors.

On the work front, Rajinikanth is currently working on his next film, which is the title of Cool, titled Coolie. The film, which marks the first cooperation of the pair, offers a contingent of actors in Shruti Haasan, Upendra, Saubin Shahir, Nagarjuna Akini, Satyaraj and many other lead roles.

Additionally, it was recently revealed that Pooja Hegde would join the actors of the film for a dance number. In addition, Pinkvilla confirmed that Bollywood star Aamir Khan would make a cameo appearance in the film. Coolie has been bancolol by Sun Pictures, in which Anirudh Ravichender has composed music. Girish Gangadharan handles cinematography, while Philomines Raj takes care of the film’s editing.

After the Coolie, Rajinikanth is set to re -join Nelson Nilipkumar for his 2023 film jailer sequel. Title Jailor 2, the film will feature music composed by Anirudh Ravichender. The project was also recently announced with manufacturers who shared a small teaser.
