Shah Rukh Khan is truly the King of Hearts and certainly knows how to win the hearts of his fans. He has three kids: Aryan Khan, Suhana Khan and AbRam Khan. While appearing on a TV show recently, the young actor revealed the reason behind naming his youngest son and said a heartwarming thing that he wants his kids to feel ‘ghar mein desh waala secularism’, which will absolutely melt your heart.
During an old episode of Rajat Sharma’s Aap Ki Adalat, Khan was asked by a fan why he named his youngest son AbRam and what the name meant. He replied, “First of all, in Islam, Hazrat Ibrahim is known as Abraham in the Bible, and in Judaism it is called AbRam. I thought since my wife (Gauri Khan) is Hindu and I am Muslim, we want our children to feel the sense of secularism at home. Many people did not like it and it became a controversy, but I believe our home has secularism just like our country.”
In an old interview with New Indian Express, Shah Rukh Khan was asked how his life changed after AbRam’s birth, especially since his youngest son was in the news more than Aryan or Suhana. In response, Khan said that AbRam loved going out to public places with him, while Aryan and Suhana were more concerned about crowds.
He described finding a close friend in AbRam, calling him a little crazy like himself, as they would jump, shout and play silly games. One of AbRam’s favourite games was to cover his face and ask, “Papa, where is AbRam?” Khan said that he has become more gentle after becoming a father, but he is even more gentle with AbRam because of the child’s innocence.
On the professional front, Shah Rukh Khan is set to star in Sujoy Ghosh’s King alongside Suhana Khan, Abhishek Bachchan and Abhay Verma. The film is described as a high-octane action thriller that will see Khan in a powerful and intense role.
The film revolves around the guru-disciple relationship between King Khan and Suhana, with Abhishek Bachchan playing the villain. The music and background score of the film is composed by Anirudh, while a top-tier team has been assembled to create the action sequences.
