Throwback: When Shah Rukh Khan revealed that Kajol had upset his son AbRam after watching Dilwale; said ‘Papa is broken’

Shah Rukh Khan shares a great rapport with his kids Suhana Khan, Aryan Khan and AbRam Khan. SRK often shows his love for his kids publicly, be it in interviews, promotional events or on social media. Shah Rukh considers his elder son Aryan as his “best friend”, the superstar once said in an old clip. He often spends time with his daughter Suhana and little one AbRam. Talking about the 11-year-old boy, he often watches his father Shah Rukh’s films. In 2015, Shah Rukh once revealed that AbRam got upset with Kajol after watching his film Dilwale.

During the trailer launch of Dilwale, Shah Rukh Khan recalled an incident when his younger son AbRam watched the Rohit Shetty directorial in Hyderabad.

The Dilwale star reminisced that performing stunts for films is quite difficult. Citing an action scene, King Khan revealed that he did not perform the stunt but his character got injured at the end of the sequence in the film.

“He (AbRam) thought it was because of Kajol because she was also in that scene. Toh unko dekh ke kah raha hai ‘papa toot gaye’. He was very upset with that (AbRam believed his father was injured because of Kajol because she was also a part of the scene…)” Shah Rukh had said then.

“Uska mujhe pata hai uska humara milan achcha nahi lag raha. Uska lag raha hai agar Kajol ke saath aayega to baap toote jayega, lekin picture achchi lagegi (I know how much she must have disliked Raj and Meera’s reunion. She felt that if her father, Shah Rukh, shares screen space with Kajol, he will be hurt),” he quipped.

Dilwale also featured Varun Dhawan and Kriti Sanon in lead roles. The 2015 film also featured Varun Sharma, Johnny Lever, Boman Irani, Sanjay Mishra and others in pivotal roles.

Shah Rukh and Kajol have also worked in films such as Kuch Kuch Hota Hai, Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge, Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham, My Name is Khan and Karan Arjun.

Talking about work, Shahrukh Khan will be seen in the upcoming film King with his daughter Suhana Khan. This full action film directed by Sujoy Ghosh also stars Abhishek Bachchan and Abhay Verma.
