Samantha Ruth Prabhu is undoubtedly one of the most prominent women in show business who has made her mark through her work. However, in an old interview with Filmfare, the actress revealed her mindset after her divorce from her ex-husband, Naga Chaitanya.
In an interview a few years ago, the actress shared how initially she felt like dying after the divorce and now she feels proud of herself for overcoming it. He mentioned that half the problem is solved when one expresses one’s feelings, understands them and accepts them.
The actress further explained that expressing and accepting one’s feelings is the moment when a person becomes aware of his life and realizes that he has to live it despite the challenges.
She said, “I know I will still live my life, and with all the issues I have faced now in my personal life, I am amazed at how strong I was. I thought I was a very weak person. I thought that due to my separation, I would collapse and die. I didn’t think I was capable of being that strong… Today I’m very proud of how strong I am because I really didn’t know I was that strong.’
For the uninitiated, Samantha Ruth Prabhu and Naga Chaitanya were previously married. The couple, who had been dating for a while, tied the knot in 2017. However, after a four-year long marriage, their relationship came to an end when they announced their separation and divorce in 2021.
Coming to 2024, Naga Chaitanya is all set to tie the knot once again, this time with actress Sobhita Dhulipala on December 4, 2024. The actor was in a rumored relationship for quite some time, which was officially confirmed with their engagement earlier. August this year.
Moving on, as the wedding is getting closer day by day, the couple has already started the celebrations. Shobhita was also revealed to have recently undergone the Pelli Kuthuru ceremony. The two are all set to marry each other at Annapurna Studios, produced by Chai’s grandfather and late superstar Akkineni Nageswara Rao.
On the other hand, Samantha who was last seen in the web series Citadel: Honey Bunny opposite Varun Dhawan is working on the show Rakta Brahmand with Aditya Roy Kapur.
