Salman Khan, who made his Bollywood debut in the lead role in Maine Pyar Kiya, has been contributing to the Hindi film industry since the late 1980s. Salman is one of the biggest superstars that Bollywood is proud of. The 58-year-old actor once created a stir on the internet by impersonating Shatrughan Sinha. Dabangg co-star Sonakshi Sinha also joined him.

In 2015, Salman Khan shared a dubsmash video with Sonakshi Sinha on Instagram. In the clip, Salman can be seen repeating Sonakshi’s father Shatrughan Sinha’s dialogue from a special scene in Mere Apne.

The Dabangg star mastered Sinha’s dialogue delivery and lip-synced the lines from the 1971 film. Don’t forget to see how the superstar tried the style of placing his hand on the neck of the veteran actor.

Sonakshi, who recorded the clip, played Meena Kumari in this sequence. Her expressions are on point.

The clip shows Salman Khan speaking Shatrughan Sinha’s lines asking, “Where is Shyam?” Sonakshi, who plays Meena Kumari, replies, “He has gone to the pharmacy with Bittu.” After this the superstar says, “Aaye toh kehna chhenu aaya tha, it is very hot in the blood so it is useless to come to the field.”

Salman Khan put this video on the platform on 22 May 2015. He captioned his post with a hashtag that read, “Tribute to the shot gun.”

Directed by Gulzar, Mere Apne starred Meena Kumari in the role of Anandi Devi. Shatrughan Sinha was cast in the role of Chhenu. Vinod Khanna played the role of Shyam in the film. It also starred Deven Verma, Asrani, Danny Denzongpa and Paintal.

Salman Khan and Sonakshi Sinha worked together for the first time in Dabangg (2010). This was Sonakshi’s first film. He has been a part of Dabangg 2 and Dabangg 3. In the Dabangg franchise, Salman plays the role of a policeman named Chulbul Pandey and Sonakshi is his on-screen wife Rajjo.

The makers are now bringing Dabangg 4 in the future. In 2021, Pinkvilla reported that Tigmanshu Dhulia is working on its script.

On the work front, Salman Khan is prepping for AR Murugadoss’ directorial Sikandar. Produced by Sajid Nadiadwala, the film will release on Eid 2025. Salman also has Atlee’s next in the pipeline.
