Jr NTR is one such heartthrob of South cinema who has constantly mesmerized millions with his acting. The actor earned immense fame and recognition with the huge success of his film RRR. Despite being so famous, the actor is an introvert when it comes to his personal life.
However, Jr NTR once spoke about an unheard phase of his life when he was silently battling depression.
In an old interview with RJ Siddharth Kannan during the promotion of his film RRR, Jr NTR revealed that he went into depression when his films did not do well at the box-office. He described himself as an ‘inexperienced little kid’ who felt aimless.
For those who don’t know, Jr NTR made his Bollywood debut at the age of 16 with his debut film Student No. 1. Recalling that period, the Devaraya star said, “Some films were not working and I was depressed. Not because the films were not working, but because I was confused as an actor. I didn’t know what I should do.”
Towards the end of the conversation, Jr NTR also spoke about the various fears he faced in his career even though he had started making a name in cinema. He said that he was doubtful about how much more he would be able to achieve as he was always afraid of falling.
However, for Jr NTR, things changed completely in his career at the age of 20 when he came in contact with the enigmatic filmmaker SS Rajamouli. The Janatha Garage star revealed that Rajamouli was the one who stressed on the need for introspection in his life and career.
Now Jr NTR is busy with several films at different stages of his career. First up is Koratala Siva’s action drama film Devraa: Part 1, starring Janhvi Kapoor in the lead role.
Apart from this, she is all set to make her Bollywood debut opposite superstar Hrithik Roshan in the upcoming film War 2.
On the personal front, the actor is living a happy married life with his wife Lakshmi Pranathi. The two lead a simple life and are not seen much on social media. The couple has two sons.
