The world knows the journey of Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh from lovers to a happily married couple and then to becoming parents of a little girl. Like most of us, their entry into each other’s family chat groups was like a seal of acceptance into each other’s family. But it’s also scary because Singh complains about her in his family group whenever the DP doesn’t listen to him.
A few years ago, when the COVID-19 pandemic spread across the world and India went into complete lockdown, Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh found ample time to spend with each other at home. During a conversation with Film Companion Studio, the Pathan actress revealed that she is busy taking care of the house and being productive.
In an old interview, the new mother had said that she cannot sit idle at home. This is the reason why her husband often stops her from doing ‘fat-fat’ all the time. He said in the interview that the Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani star keeps asking him to sit at one place and do something all the time.
She admits that she is always doing something and her mind is busy. Whenever she doesn’t listen to Leo about taking time off and relaxing, he complains about it in their family group. She further told about an incident in which she had sprained her back while cleaning the house and then she got bored.
But before leaving for the workout, Ranveer instructed his wife not to move from the bed as she was injured. To check on her, the Bajirao Mastani actor made a surprise visit within 20 minutes and as expected, he found the Piku actress trying to clean something on a shelf.
Seeing DP not in bed, he became angry and said to her, “Can’t you do this fast all the time?” Just sit in one place, your back is hurt.” Well, this proves how much love and care Ranveer has for Deepika.
Having said that, the couple recently welcomed their baby girl. A few days ago, on the occasion of Diwali, he had announced to name his daughter Dua Padukone Singh.
