Anushka Sharma and Ranbir Kapoor shared the screen in Karan Johar’s Ae Dil Hai Mushkil in 2016. Since then, the two actors have developed a deep love for each other and whenever she got the chance, Anushka has expressed her admiration for Kapoor. In an old interview, the Jab Harry Met Sejal actress spoke about what she connected with the most.
We found an old interview of Anushka Sharma and Ranbir Kapoor with India TV, in which she said that if there is one actor with whom she has been paired successfully, it would be Ranbir. Backing up her statement with a reason, the actress said that they connect with each other on a level that she hasn’t experienced with anyone else. She added that there is no judgement and they can really sense each other’s energy.
Moreover, they give each other space as actors. Also, they don’t have to say much to each other when they are performing. She added that there is a natural energy between them that she has never experienced before. Also, the way Ranbir is as a person is something she really respects. “And that’s why it would be nice to have such an equation with him in the future,” Anushka concluded.
During the promotion of her film on Kapil Sharma Show, the Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi actress also revealed how the Animal star had spread false stories about their meeting. He said that they met at Yash Raj Studios, where he was working out in the gym. However, Rhea Kapoor’s father Ranbir fabricated the false story of their first meeting.
He revealed in several interviews that upon seeing him at the gym, the actress told him, “Oh, sorry. I will come later” and he replied, “No, no, please workout.” To this, Ranbir Kapoor replied on the show, “That’s my story; I will say whatever I want to.” But he clarified what exactly happened, Sharma said that she had just walked in; the two greeted each other and said ‘hi’ to each other.
The two actors then worked out in the same gym and said ‘bye’ before leaving. But the Sanju actor refused to agree with her story and said that he would have remembered if she had worked out in front of him. Meanwhile, on the work front, Anushka has an unreleased film titled Chakda Express. Talking about Ranbir, he will be next seen in Ramayan.
