Deepika Padukone and Alia Bhatt are one of the closest friends in Bollywood who have remained loyal to their friends no matter what. Hence, filmmaker Karan Johar invited them on his reality TV show, Koffee with Karan. During their fun and candid discussion, the Jigra actress revealed that she wants a body like Deepika.
B-Town’s best friends and partners in crime, Alia Bhatt and Deepika Padukone appeared on Koffee With Karan season 6. During the rapid-fire round of the first episode of the popular talk show, Karan Johar asked the Gangubai Kathiawadi actress about the girlfriend she would want to have. To this, the National Award-winning actress replied, “Her body, her legs, her height.”
She continued by talking about another thing that the new mom is often seen doing when she is spotted by the media. Calling it a rare occurrence, Alia asked the Fighter actress “How is it possible that every time you step out of the airport or your pictures are taken, it’s always like hair is flying and there’s some joke? Someone has made a joke and there’s a lot of laughter over it. So, I say ‘Listen, who’s joking? I always want to walk with him.'” To this, the new mom replied, “No, you’re confused, I’m not doing that.”
When KJo asked the Piku actress to make a choice between kids and films, she answered both and said “kids while doing films.” Well, years later, Deepika enjoyed her pregnancy and even shot scenes in her films when she was expecting her first child. A few days ago, on September 8, Ranveer Singh and DP were blessed with a baby girl. In an earlier interview with News18, actor Saswata Chatterjee, who shared the screen with the new mom in Kalki 2898 AD, revealed that the actress was pregnant while filming the climax scene of Nag Ashwin’s action film.
He recalled the challenging scene when he dragged Deepika’s character SU-M80 (aka Sumati) by her hair. The veteran actor also revealed that since Deepika was pregnant by then, this last leg of the shoot was done in Mumbai and Ranveer was present there during the entire scene. Since he was aware of the physically challenging scene and Padukone’s condition, he asked her husband not to worry. To this, the new father replied with a smile and said “I know, Dada.”
Meanwhile, on the work front, Deepika and Ranveer will next be seen in Rohit Shetty’s multi-starrer Singham Again.
