Tinu Anand made his first statement after harassing a group of individuals by threatening to harm stray dogs in Mumbai. During a conversation with the Free Press Journal, the experienced Bollywood actor defended himself and stood by his statement. The Dabang actor told Prakashan that he means whatever he had said in his WhatsApp message.
He said, “My daughter has broken her wrist and has been treated for the last one month and has now spent Rs 90,000 to operate twice.” Sharing what happened to his daughter, the actor said that his pet dogs were attacked in their society by 3 stray dogs, and trying to save their pets, she fell and broke her wrist.
“I want to talk to these dog lovers. If they doubt these dogs, they feed them, they take care of them, why don’t they put a strap on them?” Anand questioned, saying that he is 80 years old and if a dog attacks him, he has every right to defend himself.
Addressing the backlash coming in his way, Hussey Toh Fasi actor expressed that online people have “diuretic fingers” which are typing messages. However, they do not affect him because he is ignoring them completely, because he knows what he has written. He further expressed that he did not say so to attack dogs but protect himself. “These people are citing the order of the Supreme Court. The Supreme Court said that you cannot defend yourself to attack yourself against a dog?” Tinu concluded.
For unknown, Tinu Anand wrote in his viral message that when he was returning from a terrible shoot, he was admitted to dogs barking. He said, “The challenge has been taken. There is a hockey stick to face them … I am warning all the dog lovers here … take them home or face my anger … I have been given advance notice to my society,” he said in his lesson.
Soon after his message went viral, a case was registered at the Versova police station.
