This is the Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra and it’s launching on February 25th
Samsung is preparing to launch the Galaxy S26 series soon. Now, a new leak has given us our first look at the Galaxy S26 Ultra. Here’s what the device looks like, and what you can expect when it launches later this month.

Samsung is preparing to launch its latest flagship devices, the Galaxy S26 series. The lineup will be led by the Galaxy S26 Ultra, as is the case with the phone maker’s S series. After weeks of anticipation and rumors, a new leak has finally given us a good look at the design of Samsung’s upcoming Android flagship ahead of its launch later this month.
There is going to be a big change in the design of Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra
The Ultra variants of Samsung’s Galaxy S series have kept a similar design with minor changes since the Galaxy S22 Ultra launched in 2022. Now, it looks like the Korean giant is finally ready for a major change.
According to Android Headlines, official renders of the Galaxy S26 Ultra show a brand new camera module design. Instead of separate camera cutouts, the device appears to have an integrated camera module, similar to the Galaxy Z Fold 7. Apart from the new camera layout, the Galaxy S26 Ultra also gets more rounded corners.

The renders show the phone in two colors – Cobalt Violet and Black. However, the Galaxy S26 Ultra is also expected to come in four more colors – White, Silver Shadow, Sky Blue, and Pink Gold. It is also reported that the phone will be 7.9 mm thinner than the S25 Ultra, while the older model had a thickness of 8.2 mm.
Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra display and cameras
On the front, the renders show a flat display with minimal bezels. The Galaxy S26 Ultra is expected to come with a 6.9-inch QHD+ AMOLED display. The device is likely to introduce a new inbuilt privacy feature that can hide sensitive content from onlookers when the phone is used in a public place.
According to reports, the Galaxy S26 Ultra is expected to retain the quad-camera setup from its predecessor. The device will likely come with a 200-megapixel main sensor, a 50-megapixel ultrawide, a 10-megapixel 3x telephoto, and a 50-megapixel 5x periscope lens. The front sensor is likely to be a 12-megapixel unit.
Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra performance and battery
Under the hood, the Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra may feature different chipsets depending on the region. Some markets may use Samsung’s new Exynos 2600 SoC, while others may get Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor.
On the battery front, the Galaxy S26 Ultra is expected to use the same 5,000mAh cell as the Galaxy S25 Ultra. However, charging could use an upgrade. The device can support up to 60W wired fast charging and 25W wireless charging. Samsung is expected to bring Qi2 wireless charging support to the Galaxy S26 series, which will essentially make it compatible with Apple’s MagSafe.
Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra launch and expected price
The Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra is expected to launch on February 25, 2026, at an event to be held in San Francisco, US. Although there is no information available yet about the price, the Korean giant may keep it unchanged from last year. Galaxy S25 Ultra was launched in India for Rs 1,29,999.
