Along with the phone, you also get a silicone cover that complements the device with a matching green shade. Then there’s the charger, SIM ejector tool, and the general device guide.

Along with the standard Charcoal Black and Mint Breeze, OnePlus is also offering a third colorway: Electric Violet, which is available as a special Ace Edition. It’s aimed at users who prefer something flashy and bold that stands out amid more muted tones, with a gaming-inspired aesthetic to match.
what to expect?
Now, coming to the specifications, the full spec sheet is still under embargo, but OnePlus has revealed enough to keep the excitement going.
First up is the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 5, making the OnePlus 15R the first smartphone globally to come with this chipset. Beyond raw power, the device also includes two dedicated chips: the OnePlus G2 Wi-Fi chip for stronger, more stable wireless connectivity, and a touch response chip that allows the screen to register touch inputs significantly faster than standard displays.
In terms of display, the OnePlus 15R will come with a 165Hz 1.5K AMOLED panel, which will deliver ultra-smooth visuals and crisp clarity for videos, games, and everyday scrolling.
OnePlus is also bringing its DetailMax Engine to the 15R, the same advanced computational photography system seen on the flagship OnePlus 15. It includes Ultra Clear mode, Clear Burst and Clear Night Engine, designed to boost clarity, color accuracy and dynamic range.
And then comes one of the biggest upgrades, the most advanced selfie camera ever on an R-series device. The OnePlus 15R is confirmed to have a 32-megapixel front camera with autofocus, which will double the resolution of the 13R and bring autofocus to the R-series for the first time. The front camera will support 4K video recording at up to 30fps, which is a significant jump from the 1080p limit of last year’s model. On the back, the phone supports 4K 120fps recording.
Battery life is another area where the phone is strengthening. The 15R will come with a massive 7,400mAh battery, the largest ever fitted to a phone by OnePlus sold in India. OnePlus says the battery is engineered to survive in extremely harsh environments and retains at least 80 percent capacity even after four years of use.
The OnePlus 15R will also be durable with IP66, IP68, and IP69K ratings, giving it protection against dust, water, submersion, and even high-pressure jets.
