The trailer for director Kirill Sokolov’s horror-comedy ‘They Will Kill You’ has finally been released. Warner Bros.’s film is scheduled to release in theaters on March 27.

Beetz plays the Virgil, a newly hired housekeeper at a mysterious hotel in New York City. What initially appears to be a standard task quickly unravels as he discovers that the building is home to a satanic cult. The cult has chosen him to be their next human sacrifice, setting up the main conflict of the film.

The trailer highlights the horror elements with scenes of anarchy and bloodshed. In one of the film’s most haunting moments, Beetz’s character receives a dire warning: “This building is Satan’s temple. Every month, we must pay with a human sacrifice. Tonight, you are the offering.” This line sets the tone for the film’s blend of horror and dark humor.
More tension is created as other characters question Beetz’s ability to fight back. During the confrontation, a character asks, “Where did you learn to fight like that?” Beetz replied simply, “Prison.” These exchanges indicate the hero’s resilience and suggest an unconventional backstory for his character.
The film is a collaboration between New Line Cinema and Nocturna. Andy Muschietti, Barbara Muschietti, and Dan Kagan serve as producers, with Sokolov and co-writer Alex Litvak also serving as executive producers. Additional executive producers include Russell Ackerman, John Schonfelder and Carl Hampe.
According to previous reports, Patricia Arquette and Tom Felton have joined the cast of the film in August 2024. Their involvement adds to the profile of the project, with both actors known for their extensive careers in film and television.
