They’ll Kill You hits theaters today! The American action comedy horror film directed by Kirill Sokolov stars Zazie Beetz, MyHa’La, Patterson Joseph, Tom Felton, Heather Graham, and Patricia Arquette. They present a thoroughly entertaining plot about an ex-convict, Asia Reeves (Beetz), whose life is turned upside down after reading about an ad for a domestic helper that leads her into the middle of a cult. Fearing for his survival, he meets some interesting people who are convinced that the mess they have created is the perfect way to get involved in ‘They Will Kill You’.
Speaking exclusively to Us about his time portraying Kevin, who is part of a satanic cult, and what it was like to walk into the high-rise building, The Virgil, where all the chaos takes place, he said, “I can’t speak highly enough about Jeremy Reed and his team and all the people who paid so much attention to details, so scary, but also so familiar. I mean, the camera couldn’t see it, but even parts of the wallpaper were slightly bent. It creates the illusion that someone has been there for so long, he is a very sweet boy.

The crew is ‘incredibly nice’ in real life. Opening up about how he was able to get into character as soon as he stepped into costume, Tom Felton said, “Neil MacLean, our brilliant costume designer, has been a godsend because he got everyone into such specific looks, and when I arrived in Cape Town I really had no idea what Kevin was going to look like, but as soon as I saw the board and what he had in mind, I loved it… And like any good costume, like When you wear it, you immediately feel like you are becoming an avatar of someone. Otherwise, as soon as I wore that suit, my whole posture changed, so it was fun.
Tom Felton talks about working with Heather Graham, who played Kevin’s counterpart Sharon
Apart from Asia, Sharon is the one most closely associated with Kevin in the film, and so their relationship is central to their characters’ portrayal. The actor was able to establish a bond that would be able to make a difference on screen. He said, “Kevin and Sharon, they have a unique relationship for a lot of reasons, but the yin and yang of those two is great. One thing Kirill said to me very early on was his love for Kevin and Sharon as a dynamic, very strange couple, and working with Heather has been fantastic, where one character has her strengths and the other doesn’t. So they’re a twisted couple, but they were so much fun to create.”
They’ll Kill You will be released in global theaters on March 27, 2026.
