Heidi Klum has already started her Halloween plans! On the America’s Got Talent Season 19 finale on Tuesday, September 17, the television host spoke to PEOPLE about her plans for this year’s spooky celebration. Klum has been working on her costume “for months” because it takes time to make molds and create prosthetics.
She added, “Yes, there is a lot involved because I wanted to look so fabulous, it’s not something I can do overnight.” Klum has a history of wearing shocking, unconventional and attention-grabbing outfits on Halloween. The model feels the pressure to meet her fans’ high expectations.
He said, “I know I have a lot of fans and these special Halloween fans are people who love to dress up and create amazing things,” and he shared his desire to make a special reveal just for them.
Klum has been known for her Halloween costumes since the early 2000s, which include dressing up as insects and proving to be one of the most amazing cosplayers year after year. Last year, the supermodel dressed up as a peacock for her party at NYC’s Marquee nightclub and had backup artists walking behind her as part of the costume.
“I wanted to create a costume with a lot of people,” she told People at the time. She wanted a lot of people to come together and become one unit. “And for me, in my mind, that one thing was the peacock,” she explained.
In 2022, the IGT judge arrived at her annual party dressed as a bug. Her husband Tom Kaulitz was also part of the costume, playing a fisherman covered in blood. Zombie mummy, a werewolf, an alien zombie, Jessica Rabbit, Shrek’s Princess Fiona, and clones of herself have been some of her most memorable outfits over the years.
