Austin Abrams talks about his experience working with George Clooney and Brad Pitt on the latest Apple TV+ release, Wolves. While the actor’s role in the film adds comedic elements, his interactions with the two Hollywood bigwigs were not given much thought.
Speaking to Entertainment Weekly, Abrams revealed that she had never thought about working with Pitt and Clooney in a film so early in her career.
While sitting down for an interview with the media outlet, the young actor recalled the warm welcome he received from the Ocean’s duo. He elaborated, “If I had the courage to think about it or the courage to think that it was possible then it would have happened.”
Abrams continued, “I don’t know who it wouldn’t be on. It’s crazy to be able to do this, to work with these two people whose work I’ve admired for so long.”
As far as Abrams’ role in the action-comedy is concerned, he is best known as a kid who died due to a drug overdose. However, as Clooney and Pitt try to get rid of the body by throwing it in the back of the car, the child opens his eyes, claiming to be alive.

Further speaking with the entertainment portal, Abrams shared details about her role, saying, “This character is naive and feels like this is a person who is very forward-looking, maybe not too much about things. Thinks, and in turn, he himself was in a situation where he was actually trying to help someone.”
He further added that his character “encounters these people who he’s afraid of and intimidated by at first, and then starts to get more comfortable and realizes that they’re on his side a little bit more.”
While Clooney and Pitt have been on good terms over the years as they both worked together in the Ocean’s trilogy, they have a brotherly friendship offscreen as well.
As for Abrams, who was a major part of the film and had scenes with the other two actors, he had a lot of sarcastic energy on set and in scenes, making him fit comfortably into the group.
“They’re extremely warm and welcoming people, so it was really helpful to feel comfortable,” the young actor shared. The Wolves is available to stream on Apple TV+ and has been released in selected theaters.
