When it comes to protecting the public from spoiling, the white lotus manufacturers are always 10 steps ahead. Fans will know that the show is known for its strange and shocking storylines, but now in real life, the makers of the show pulled a huge prank to protect the end of the show from any box.
Talking to Peepal Magazine, the show’s executive producer David Burnad opens about how he and the producer of the White Lotus, Mike White, came with a leak-proof plan. He reveals, “We have a fake end for the script. So we wrote -we have six different ends, and we have distributed people to fake endings, when someone has leaked anything, and then we can say that there are different fake ends.”
Bernad says that to shoot the real end, they had to close the entire set to keep them out of someone’s point of view, which was not related to the show. He says, “When we shoot the finish scene, it is a lock-down set. So someone does not really reach what we were shooting and will never be non-white lotus participants who are ever.”
He reveals the length to keep the show’s plot secret. John Gris, who played the role of Jennifer Cooliz’s husband in season 2, wanted to keep his participation in season 3 a secret from everyone. He allegedly traveled to “a bus tool in a bus” in Thailand “from Fuket to 12 hours”, rather than taking a 45 -minute flight rather than not known by anyone.
In fact, trying to place the show under the raps, some people were in four seasons, where White Lotus is shot, Season 3 set was free tour. Bernad says, “There were people to see and filming from a room. They did not know that the film they were doing was sensitive, and I was really scared that they were going to post it.” So to sweeten the deal, they asked the guests to roam on the set.
