The 2025 has been a dull year for the Indian film industry so far, with no huge blockbusters, outside the Chhava and Saira. Biggies, Cool and War 2 on August 2 have disappointed at the box office, but they have still made it in the list of the top 5 of the most grossing Indian films of 2025 at the box office worldwide. Cool has been posted in third place while War 2 has taken 4th place. Sitare sits on the 5th position across the ground, but Mahavatar Narasimha should change it by the end of this week.

Kali and War 2 will remain in 3 and 4th position respectively until Kantara 2 releases
The coolie and war 2 have enough steam to add a gross of about 45-55 crores in their tally. Both films will remain until they are, until the arrival of Kantara: Chapter 1. Kantara: Chapter 1 has a very good opportunity to emerge as the highest grossing Indian film of 2025 at the box office worldwide. But nothing can be said for something. We still do not know whether the enthusiasm for the Kantara sequel is as high as the sequel to an all -time blockbuster film. Other films are in the controversy over the top 5 list. There are rumors that Raja Saab will be released in January 2026, but there is no complete certainty.
In 2025, one cannot be 1000 crores worldwide
It is likely that after 2 (Pathan, Jawan) and 2024 in 2023, there will be no rupee of Rs 1000 crore at the box office this year after 1 (Pushpa 2: The Rule). The number of 2024 can go up to 2 if the 3D fee is added in 2898 AD. If it is added, Mahavatar Narasima with 3D fee sits in a gross of about Rs 280 crore.
