Ishaan Khat, who acted in Netflix web series The Royals, has opened about her first love. In an interview recently, the actor shared how his teen romance started with a warm argument and turned into a classic high school love story.
Reflection on the subject of attraction – the central for his new series – Ishan recalled in a conversation with News18, “I definitely believe that opponents attract. There is evidence in Plus and Minus. I have also felt it in love.” Then he told how his first relationship started.
He said, “It started with a battle. It was a complete film! We were in high school, and it was my first love. After it ended, I felt as if everything was over,” he said with a laugh. Ishaan remembered how he insulted each other in front of the whole class. But things changed after school debate. “I told myself, ‘He is cute!’ And then Cupid killed.
He was early to add that it did not start with hatred. “Hate is a strong feeling, and it is a thin line,” he said. Although the relationship ended, memories stayed with him.
Currently, Ishaan is reportedly dating the Malaysian model Chandni Bainz. However, he has always kept his love life private.
Ishaan also talked about her views on strong women. He said that they have not been threatened with women. “Most men say they are fine with strong women, but the moment it becomes a real conversation, you see that they become uncomfortable,” they shared.
He credits his open -minded attitude for his upbringing. Ishaan was raised by her mother Neelima Azeem, which she calls a strong and inspiring woman. He said, “I know there is a woman with the agency. She balanced life, worked, and raised two boys on her own,” he said.
Neelima Azeem first married Pankaj Kapoor and later Rajesh Khattar, with whom she had Ishaan. He raised him and his half -brother Shahid Kapoor as a mother.
Speaking of Royals, Ishaan said that it does not offer a fake version of feminism. “It shows men and women equally, because real people are just beyond their look,” he said. Ishaan’s next film, Homebound, is set to compete in a certain category of the United Nations at the Cannes International Film Festival.
