Christopher Nolan will bring his magic back to the screen with Odyssey. The film is still more than a year away from its release, and the first poster of Matt Demon and Tom Holland-Starrer has been leaked online.
In the last few days, the poster appeared in AMC theaters, and later, a high-resolution version of it was leaked online. Odyssey posters have the title in the bold blue font, with the head of a Greek statue appearing at the bottom.
In addition, the phrase “completely shot with IMAX film cameras” is added directly under the title, and the theme of the film, “Defi the Gods”, is written in red above the release date. The entire poster is set against a dark blue background, which resembles one night sky.
So far we know everything about Odyssey
Odyssey will be based on the epic saga of Homer. It will continue to revolve around the mythological story of Odisius, the king of Ethaka, who returns home after the Trojan War.
To reunite with his wife, Panelope, the king has to face some important obstacles, such as Cyclops Polyfamus, Siren and Witch Devi Siras.
Christopher Nolan has returned to the director’s chair in 2023 after the release of his Oscar winning film, Openheimer.
For the artists of the upcoming Magnum Ops, Matt Demon will play the lead role of King Odsius. Additional Star-Staded Lineups include Anne Hathaway, Zandaya, Lupita Nyong’O, Robert Patinon, Charlize Theron, John Bernthal, Beni Safi, John Leguimo and Illiot Page.
Earlier, Universal Pictures announced the release date of the film in a social media post. The tweet states, “Christopher Nolan’s next film, ‘The Odissi,’, is a myth action epic shot using the brand-new Imax film technology. The film first brings the founder saga of Homer on the IMAX film screen and opens in theaters everywhere on 17 July 2026.”
More information about the film will be rolled out soon.
