Honor has just unveiled three mid-range tablets – the Pad 10 Pro, which offers a more premium alternative to last year’s Pad 10, as well as the Pad X10 and Pad X10 Pro.

The Honor Pad 10 Pro brings more compute power in a slimmer package. The metal unibody design measures 6.1 mm thick and weighs 475 grams. For comparison, the Pad 10 is 6.3 mm and 525 grams, while the Pad 9 Pro from 2024 is 6.6 mm and 589 grams.

However, don’t worry, this doesn’t come at the expense of battery capacity – the Pad 10 Pro has a 10,100mAh battery, which is the same as the Pad 10, while the Pad 9 Pro had a 10,050mAh battery. All three tablets support 35W wired charging.

We should note that the new slate is smaller in the other way that matters – it has an 11.5″ LCD, down from 12.1″ on the Pad 10 and Pad 9 Pro. The display has a 2,800 x 1,840px resolution, 500 nits brightness, and 144Hz refresh rate.

The Honor Pad 10 Pro is powered by the Dimensity 8350 Ultimate, which promises 20% more CPU and 60% more GPU performance. This is compared to “previous generation Dimensity”, which likely refers to the Dimensity 8100 inside the Pad 9 Pro.

Anyway, the tablet is built for entertainment – the display has 10-bit colors with support for DCI-P3. It also has IMAX Enhanced, HDR Vivid and Zreal badges. Extras include an anti-glare coating that cuts out 98% of ambient light reflections.

On the audio front, it has four speakers with DTS:X and IMAX Enhanced support, as well as HiRes Audio certification.

The Pad 10 Pro also supports a stylus, the Honor Magic-Pencil 4s. It can detect 4,096 levels of pressure. You can switch between soft and hard nibs to adjust the writing experience.

It also has a ton of AI features, like AI Magic Lasso – you can circle handwritten text to clean up your handwriting or convert it to digital text. There is also recognition of mathematical formulas. The list of AI-powered features also includes audio recording and transcription (with recognition for multiple speakers) and note summaries.

The tablet launches with MagicOS 10 (Android 16) and supports PC-like multitasking with multiple windows. WPS Office comes pre-installed and has an optional keyboard cover with trackpad. This makes the tablet suitable for office work as well as school work with features like Honor AI Notes and Classroom Notes.

The X10 is powered by the Snapdragon 680 – we’ll meet again, old friend. Jokes aside, the X10 Pro upgrades to the Snapdragon 685 (drum roll, please). The vanilla X10 comes with newer software, MagicOS 10 (Android 16), out of the box, compared to the
