iPhone 17 Pro camera leaked
According to Tipster Majin Boy, the iPhone 17 Pro and the iPhone 17 Pro Max are set to facilitate 48-megapixel telephoto camera with an equal to 85 mm focal length (35 mm format). It marks a change from the iPhone 16 Pro and the iPhone 16 Pro Max, offering a 120mm focal length with a 12-megapixel telephoto lens in September last year. Change is expected to increase portrait photography on the upcoming Pro model.

However, this adjustment comes with a business band. The iPhone 17 Pro model is rumored to offer a maximum of 3.5X optical zoom, which is a shortage of 5X zoom available on the current flagship model. According to the report, thanks to the in-sensor crop zoom, the same, similar to what is used in the primary camera of the iPhone 16 Pro, the users will allegedly be able to get 7x “defective” digital zoom, according to the report.
Beyond portrait improvement, advanced telephoto sensors are also expected to improve low-light photography, as the camera will be able to capture more light for better image quality.
This aligns with previous rumors, claiming that the iPhone 17 Pro will have a three-camera system-main, ultra-wide and telephoto-key with 48-megapixel shooters. The front-facing Trueid port camera is also rumored to receive a major upgrade, which jumps from 12-megapixels to 24-megapixels.
iPhone 17 Pro: What is expected
For design, the rumor is that the iPhone 17 Pro will have to undergo some changes and better. An important redesign is expected for the camera collision on the iPhone 17 Pro. Unlike the square camera module seen on the recent pro model, the new design can adopt a horizontal, rectangular or long oval shape. This updated layout is asked to accommodate three cameras arranged in the triangular formation, while the flash and lidar sensors will be allegedly removed from the right side of the module.
According to a leak from analyst Jeff Pu, the iPhone 17 Pro and iPhone 17 Pro Max are expected to maintain a 6.3-inch and 6.9-inch display respectively. However, the front glass is rumored to be more scratch-resistant and durable than the current ceramic shield.

Additionally, Apple can introduce a new “super-hard” anti-reflex coating, which can further improve the flexibility of performance.
Apple is also allegedly adjusting to Dynamic Island, which first started on the iPhone 14 Pro. The leak suggests that the Pro Max model may feature a small dynamic island, possibly due to the use of a “metal meta-lens”, the Trudepth camera allows more efficient integration of the camera components.
In terms of dimensions, the iPhone 17 Pro is rumored to be slightly thicker than its predecessor, measuring 8.725 mm compared to 8.25 mm. This increase in thickness can allow for a large battery, possibly the battery is leading to improving life.
Below the surface, the iPhone 17 Pro model is expected to be operated by Apple’s next generation of A19 Pro Chip, produced using the Advanced 3Nm (N3P) process of the TSMC. This new processor is estimated to bring remarkable benefits in performance and energy efficiency on the A18 Pro chip found in the iPhone 16 Pro series.
He said, it is noteworthy that Apple has not given any details about the upcoming series. Therefore, it is wise to take this piece of information with a pinch of salt. Stay for an official launch announcement, which may occur later this year.
