Apple is preparing to unveil the iPhone 17 Pro in September, and while a lot of attention has moved towards the ultra-skinned iPhone 17 Air, the Pro model is also expected to bring some major changes. Many early leaks indicate a re -designed frame, upgraded camera hardware, better performance and better battery life. The iPhone 17 Pro is one of the most important updates seen in the years. Whether it is a fresh look or a boost in the specs, apple fans have a good reason for getting excited. The top five upgradation likely here is coming to the iPhone 17 Pro.

Aluminum frame replaces titanium

Apple switched to the titanium for the iPhone 15 Pro series and placed it for the iPhone 16 Pro, but the upcoming iPhone 17 Pro can take a separate route. If the reports are accurate, the Pro model will move into an aluminum frame, something that we have not seen since the early days of the iPhone X, in which stainless steel was painted. There may also be a new dual-physical design on the back-aluminum on the upper part with aluminum and glass on the lower half. This will still allow wireless charging, while probably will make the phone hard and will be less likely to crack when falling.

Rear rear camera design

Another noticeable change in the camera design is expected. Recent iPhones have used a square camera layout, but the iPhone 17 Pro can break this pattern. Rumors suggest that a rectangular or bullet -shaped camera is the island. This new size will help the iPhone stand out and may also bring some functional improvements. There are mixed reports about the exact camera arrangement – some points towards a horizontal alignment, while others suggest that the Apple will maintain a triangular lens pattern. If there is a horizontal layout, it can affect how spatial videos are captured, which currently depend on the vertical alignment lenses.

Better camera sensor

Apple is expected to double the front camera resolution for 24-megapixels on the iPhone 17 Pro. This upgrade should lead to sharper selfie and clear video calls. On the back, things are also getting a large upgrade – especially for the Pro Max model. It can come up with three 48-megapixel rear cameras: one main lens, an ultra-wide and a periscope telephoto lens. This will be the first time that all three rear cameras have 48-megapixels on an iPhone. Some models may also include a mechanical aperture to improve the quality of the photo in different lighting.

A19 Pro chip and more RAM

Performance upgrade is always a large part of new iPhones. The iPhone 17 Pro will possibly be powered by the A19 Pro chip, which is designed using an increased 3Nm process. While Apple will not yet shift to 2Nm chips, the A19 Pro should still bring high speed and better power efficiency. Another big boost can come in the form of RAM. Pro and Pro Max versions have been tipped to receive 12 GB RAM, which are above 8GB in the earlier model. This should result in improvement in smooth multitasking, better gaming performance, and better handling of demand apps.

Big battery, the same charging speed

Battery is expected to improve with the iPhone 17 Pro in life, thanks to a slightly larger battery unit. Apple can also make the battery easier by using removable adhesive strips similar to people found in iPhone 16 and 16 plus. However, do not expect rapid charging. The iPhone 17 Pro is likely to have the same 35W wired charging speed. Therefore, while the battery can last longer, it is not necessary that there will be no early charge compared to before.
