The iPhone 16E first benchmark result confirms 8GB RAM
Apple’s iPhone has surfaced on 16E Geekbench, which confirms a slightly weak GPU compared to 8GB RAM and standard iPhone 16.

The latest addition of Apple for the iPhone 16 lineup, the iPhone 16E, has been seen on Geekbench, some of its major specifications have been confirmed. While the phone is not set to go on sale by February 28, the initial benchmark results have already given us an idea of how it performs. This is important because it ensures support for Apple Intelligence features, something that missed the previous year’s iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus, with 6GB RAM, missed out. The Geekbench entry also confirms that the tested device iOS 18.3.1 was running.
Apple has deployed iPhone 16E as a more affordable option of the iPhone 16 series. However, it remains to be seen how low GPU performance will affect the use of the real world, especially for gaming and graphics-rice tasks. While benchmark scores provide an initial look, the real user experience may be different.
iPhone 16E: Price and Key Glasses
The newly launched iPhone 16E model is priced at Rs 59,900 in India. For reference, the price of iPhone 16 in India starts at Rs 79,900. So, there is a difference of Rs 20,000 between two phones. Pre-orders for the new iPhone 16E will start from February 21, with delivery starting from 28 February.
The iPhone 16E has a notch with a 6.1 -inch OLED display with a face ID system to identify a safe face. Apple has replaced the traditional muted switch with an action button, allowing users to quickly access tasks such as launching or enabling the camera. The device also includes USB-C port. Powered by Apple’s A18 chip, the iPhone 16E improves significant performance on its predecessors. The device supports Apple Intelligence, a suit of AI-driven features, including genmoji such as equipment, writing equipment and integration with chat.
The iPhone 16E comes with a single 48MP fusion rear camera, offering a high-resolution image capture and 2x telephoto zoom option. On the front, the device has a 12MP true depth camera with autofocus and supports 4K video recording up to 60 frames per second with Dolby Vision. Apple claims that the iPhone 16e provides video playback for 26 hours and supports wireless charging. It also includes crash detection through satellite connectivity features such as satellite and emergency SOS, which can automatically alert emergency services in a serious accident case. However, it is not clear whether these emergency features are available to Indian users or limited to the American market.
