Apple is again leading the tablet market with its iPad lineup. A new report by Canalis shows that the tablet managed to capture 42.3 percent of the entire tablet market in the fourth quarter of Apple 2024. During this quarter, the Cupertino giant sent an estimated 16.9 million iPads, growing from 14.8 million units in Q4 2023.

According to the report, Apple’s iPads are constantly becoming preferred tablet options for users, both for personal and business use. With powerful hardware, seamless software integration, and long -term software support, iPads in the ecosystem are managing users offering reliable machines with powerful hardware, providing options at several price points.

While Apple is attracting attention from users every year, the reason for the increase in popularity of iPad in 2024 is said to be the arrival of the new gene model. M4 iPad Pro, M4 Chip characteristic, and fresh iPad Mini with the A17 Pro chip allegedly contributed significantly to the continuous growth of Apple. Meanwhile, the budget iPad Air also increased sales with the M2 chip, making it a preferred option for users, which was looking for a balanced machine with powerful hardware while maintaining the budget.
