Sharib Hashmi is an Indian actor who has played several important supporting roles in several projects. The actor is known for his performances in films such as Slumdog Millionaire, Jab Tak Hai Jaan, Ujda Chaman, Pagglait, Vikram Vedha, Mission Majnu, Sharmaji Ki Beti and others.

Sharib Hashmi reveals what to expect from The Family Man Season 3
Sharib Hashmi recently got into an interview with Digital Commentary in which he spoke about his struggles in B-Town before his big break, his bond with Manoj Bajpayee and his experience of working in Shah Rukh Khan’s film Jab Tak Hai Jaan.
During this interaction, he said that all the “dhamaal” that the audience has seen in the previous seasons will be there but the “stakes are much higher.” When asked how much of the third part of the popular series has been shot, he said that they have just started shooting for it.

Talking about her struggle to survive in the industry and how she did odd jobs to make ends meet, she also spoke about doing a short film called Mehrunni for which she did not get any money. But it helped her get a role in the Shah Rukh Khan, Katrina Kaif and Anushka Sharma starrer Jab Tak Hai Jaan.
Going back to the past, he remembered auditioning for Yash Chopra’s film. Calling it a ‘special film’, the Fighter actor revealed that he felt everything was scripted so that he could get the role of Zain Mirza in the film. He recalled auditioning for the role by shooting for 3-4 rounds and doing Vinay Pathak’s scenes in Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi. It was the fourth round when he really got the chance to play Zain and show his potential.
After several days, he got a call from someone who told him that another young and upcoming actor had been selected for the role. Though he was disappointed, Sharib did not let it affect him and continued with what was in his hand. But after a week, he got another call but this time from the office of Yash Raj Films, the production house backing the film and headed by Aditya Chopra.
Sharib finally gave one last audition and within 30 minutes he got a call informing him that he was playing the role and that he would have to come for shooting the role two days later. He said, “I was so crazy wondering what this would be.”

Further, in the chat, the actor revealed that when he got Jab Tak Hai Jaan, he was also offered Filmistaan. Since he was playing the lead role in Nitin Kakkar’s film, he had high expectations from it. Well, the film turned out to be one of the best performances of his career. It also won the award for the Best Feature Film in Hindi at the 60th National Film Awards 2012.
It was also screened at several domestic and international film festivals. After almost two years, the film was finally released across the country in 2014.
