If the latest reports are to be believed, actor Jaideep Ahlawat has joined the cast of Manoj-led The Family Man Season 3.
According to a new report by Bollywood Hungama, Jaideep Ahlawat is the latest entry in The Family Man series. A source confirmed to the portal about Jaideep’s inclusion in the star cast of Manoj Bajpayee’s series. The Paatal Lok actor is in Nagaland for the ongoing shoot schedule with the RK & DK team.
However, there is no information about his role in The Family Man Season 3. The makers have kept his character a secret.
The source further spoke about Jaideep Ahlawat’s career in the entertainment industry, which includes Anushka Sharma’s production Paatal Lok. Jaideep has also worked in films like An Action Hero (2022), Jaane Jaan (2023), Maharaj (2024), which increased his popularity.
The source added that viewers can expect his role to be significant in the third season and his character will make them excited to watch the show.
Meanwhile, Sharib Hashmi, who plays JK Talpade in The Family Man, took to X (formerly Twitter) to inform his fans that he has begun shooting for the upcoming season. Reacting to a tweet from a fan who is excited for season 3, Sharib tweeted, “Me too!!! Shooting is on right now.”
Earlier, a report in Midday claimed that Raj and DK will sign The Family Man season 4. A source was quoted as saying that while the shooting of the third season is underway, there have been discussions about signing the series with the fourth installment. Raj-DK are currently mulling the idea, and haven’t taken a final decision yet,” the source added.
The Family Man stars Manoj Bajpayee as Srikant Tiwari, a middle-class man who secretly works as an intelligence officer for the Threat Analysis and Surveillance Cell (TASC).
