The Buckingham Murders: Rajkummar Rao gives special praise to Kareena Kapoor Khan and Hansal Mehta’s ‘gripping thriller’

Buckingham Murders is about a crime investigation involving a missing child and follows the trauma of Detective Jas Bhamra. The film is produced by Shobha Kapoor, Ekta R Kapoor and Kareena Kapoor Khan. It is Bebo’s first production. Earlier, Rhea Kapoor and Karisma Kapoor also expressed their admiration for the film.

Meanwhile, Rajkummar Rao is currently enjoying the success of Stree 2. The horror comedy also stars Shraddha Kapoor, Abhishek Banerjee, Aparshakti Khurana and Pankaj Tripathi. It is a sequel to the 2018 film Stree and the latest addition to the Maddock Supernatural Universe.

Earlier, Hansal Mehta shared a long note on Twitter about the success of Stree 2. He wrote, “It is a talent vehicle, packed with superb writing, direction and dramatic flair.” Praising Rajkummar and director Amar Kaushik, the filmmaker said, “It’s a win for Rajkummar, who we love because he is a brilliant actor. It’s a win for Amar Kaushik because he has mastered the medium and has the ability to transform a script into meaningful entertainment for people.”

Rajkummar is currently gearing up for the release of Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video. Directed by Raaj Shaandilyaa, it is a comedy entertainer starring Tripti Dimri in the lead role. The film will release in theatres on October 11, 2024 during the Dussehra weekend.
