Jon Bernthal, who is popular for his roles in critically acclaimed projects like The Bear and Fury, is set to appear in Christopher Nolan’s upcoming film, Odyssey. The film has been praised by IMAX and the studio has announced that the Oscar-winning director’s upcoming cinematic masterpiece will hit screens in 2026.
Bernthal is the newest addition to the cast of the latest film, after Matt Damon, Tom Holland, Zendaya, and Anne Hathaway confirmed their presence in the film. Nolan’s next film will also star Robert Pattinson, Lupita Nyong’o and Charlize Theron.

The film will tell the story of bravery, loyalty and heroism from Greek mythology. The cast will begin filming their scenes in February, and the film’s release will also mark the second collaborative project between Nolan and Universal Studios.
In addition to securing a major project to be released in the coming years, Bernthal will also be sharing screen space with Ben Affleck in The Accountant 2. The film is scheduled to release on screens on April 25.
The Emmy-winning actor will next be seen in the series adaptation of His & Hers, which will stream on Netflix this year.
