Thamma completed his third week by adding Rs. Overall Rs 5.35 crore. 35 lakhs are coming on the fourth Thursday. The second week drop is around 70 percent, which means the film is now moving towards its finish line. Opened with Rs. 23 crores, the film made approximately Rs. 102 crore in the first extended week of 10 days, followed by Rs. 17 crores in the second week. The total turnover of Thamma is Rs. Reached. Earning Rs 124.70 crore at the Indian box office.
With this, the film starring Ayushmann Khurrana, Rashmika Mandanna and Nawazuddin Siddiqui overtook the lifetime earnings of Maddock Films’ horror comedy universe debut Stree (Rs 124.50 crore). Thamma is now the second highest grossing film in the popular cinematic world after Stree 2.
Directed by Aditya Sarpotdar, Thamma is now facing a new release, De De Pyar De 2, in its fourth week. The theatrical release of the vampire-comedy is expected to fetch around Rs. 128 crores or more, which is a good figure for artists, but not for brands and IPs.
