Tamil film Thalaivar Thambi Thalaimayil registered a good run at the box office. The political satire film starring Jeeva in the lead role collected Rs. Earned Rs 2.75 crore in its third week. There has been a decline of about 65 percent compared to the previous week, indicating that the film is now in its final stages.
The running cume of Thalaivar Thambi Thalaimayil has reached Rs. It grossed Rs 33.50 crore at the Indian box office in its three-week theatrical run. From this the film earned a good amount. 30.50 crore came from his home state, while the rest came from other states in India.
The film was released during the Pongal festival, when it collected around Rs. 22.75 crores in the first week, then Rs. 8 crores in the second week. One of the major reasons why the Jiiva starrer film managed to attract the audience is its positive buzz among the audience. Directed by Nitish Sahdev, the film is likely to continue theatrically for a few weeks and complete its journey around Rs. Earning Rs 35 crore at the Indian box office.
