Netflix has released a trailer for an upcoming Tamil film, Test directed by S. Sasikant. The film follows a cricketer, a scientist and a teacher’s objection to life as they navigate individual and business challenges. The Test is set on the premiere on 4 April.

The film includes R Madhavan as Saravanan, a scientist, scientist who strives for a success, Nayantara as Kumukha, a teacher between love and duty, and Siddharth Arjuna, a cricketer as a balance of balance and personal struggle. Meera Jasmine Padma plays the role of Arjun’s wife, who wants to protect her personal place. The trailer puts pressure on the face of each character as they decide that can define their futures.

Director S. Sasikant described the film as more than just one sports drama, stating, “It’s not just a film about cricket; it is about the human soul, it is about us shaped options, and the fine line between victory and collapse.”

Meera Jasmine returns to cinema in the film and brings a remarkable actors together. R. Madhavan expressed his enthusiasm for the role, saying, “The test captures the tireless discovery of excellence and the sacrifices made to protect someone’s legacy.”

Siddharth, whose character revolves around cricket, described the film as a passion project, while Nayantara called it a story that lives with you.

The test is produced by YNOT Studio and will be available in Tamil, Hindi, Telugu, Malayalam and Kannada. The trailer is now streaming on YouTube, and the film will be released globally on Netflix on 4 April.
