Tere Naam re-release day 2 box office collection: Salman Khan’s film maintains consistent earnings, earns Rs 50 lakh in 2 days

Salman Khan is back as Radhey Mohan as his cult classic Tere Naam is re-released in theaters this weekend. The tragic love story, backed by a chartbuster music album, continued to lead at the box office in its second innings. Estimates suggest that the film added another crore rupees. It became Rs 25 lakh on the second day, taking its total earning to Rs. 50 lakhs earning at Indian box office.

Directed by the late Satish Kaushik, Tere Naam is expected to see some bounce on the third day, taking its opening weekend to around Rs. Will take till. 80 lakhs or so. This would be a good weekend debut for the 23-year-old film, however, a better performance was expected as the film has been in huge demand among the audiences since the trend of re-releases started in the post-pandemic period.

However, one should note that Tere Naam hit the theaters in the month of Ramzan, which is considered a dull period from a commercial point of view as the Muslim community does not watch movies during Ramzan. Since Salman Khan has a huge Muslim fan following, the business was bound to be affected. If the film had got a better release period and better performance, it would have had a much better opening.

Co-starring Bhumika Chawla and Ravi Kishan, Tere Naam is still performing at par with Salman Khan’s other re-releases. It will be interesting to see whether the film takes off or not. One positive thing for Tere Naam is that it performed well till the release of Dhurandhar 2: The Revenge and Toxic.

Box office collection of Tere Naam re-release:
