Venkatesh Daggubati heads to Bengaluru to enjoy masala dosa at an iconic restaurant, soak up the old-world charm and get a taste of the city’s food culture.
Telugu actor Venkatesh Daggubati recently came to Bengaluru not for work, but to enjoy the city’s famous dosas. Their destination was Vidyarthi Bhawan in Gandhi Bazaar, known for its timeless charm and crunchy, buttery dosa.
During his visit, Venkatesh tasted a variety of dishes ranging from soft idlis and crunchy vadas. They then enjoyed a relaxing plate of chow chow bath before moving on to the main attraction, the famous masala dosa – crispy on the outside and filled with a rich potato mixture.
The actor completed his meal with strong filter coffee, a traditional Bengaluru tradition. During the visit, he interacted warmly with the staff and enjoyed the vintage atmosphere of the eatery.
Venkatesh also posed for photographs, showing his true love for food and appreciation for the experience. This connection with Bengaluru is not new for the actor, who has played Kannada-speaking characters in films and has built a cool rapport with the local audience.
The actor’s family also has a passion for food. His daughter, Ashrita, is a baker and food vlogger, and his nephew Rana Daggubati has previously spoken about the family’s shared love for food.
On this occasion, it was not the film industry but the simple joy of dosa that brought Venkatesh to Bengaluru. The trip highlighted his appreciation for authentic flavors and the cultural significance of local cuisine.
