Rebel Star Prabhas is currently in the news as he has several projects lined up. The actor has already gained global recognition with the success of some of his films like Baahubali.
Recently, the Chief Minister of Telangana praised the actor for helping South cinema succeed and become a part of the global platform.
Recently, at a felicitation ceremony organised by Kshatriya Seva Samiti, Telangana Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy praised the Kshatriya community and said that they strive for excellence in every field of their work.
Besides, the CM also made an elaborate mention of popular actor Prabhas, who belongs to the Kshatriya community. Reddy credited the Rebel Star for bringing glory to Tollywood by giving it global recognition.
Sharing his thoughts on Prabhas’ success, A Revanth Reddy said, “Prabhas, who worked in Baahubali, gave recognition to Telugu cinema. We cannot imagine this character without Prabhas.”
Further, the Chief Minister compared Prabhas to senior actor Krishnam Raju and pointed out how the Baahubali star is giving tough competition to Hollywood with his work. He said, “Krishnam Raju became a top actor. Now Baahubali Prabhas is making his mark by competing with Hollywood.”
Well, agree or not, Prabhas is indeed on his winning ways with his consistent performances. After his Baahubali series directed by SS Rajamouli created a storm on the global stage, he followed it up with his highly successful project Kalki 2898 AD.
On the work front, Prabhas has already created quite a buzz with an excellent list of future projects.
After the immense success of his film Kalki 2898 AD with Nag Ashwin, Prabhas has many great performances lined up. This includes the sequel of his film Salaar, Salaar: Part 2 – Shouryaanga Parvam.
Apart from this, he also has Mukesh Kumar Singh’s Kannapa, Maruthi’s horror-comedy-romance film The Raja Saab, as well as a period action film by Hanu Raghavapudi. The film is based on the Razakar movement and the team began shooting for it with a puja ceremony a few days ago.
