Amidst growing rumors that actor Teja Sajja has left Jai Hanuman, the sequel to Hanu-Mana headlined by Rishabh Shetty, the actor’s team issued a clarification on December 30 calling the reports baseless.

In a statement shared online, the team said, “All speculations regarding Teja Sajja’s upcoming films including Jai Hanuman are completely false. Everything is as it was before. There is absolutely no change, and these rumors are baseless and untrue. Everyone is requested to refrain from spreading such misinformation. (sic)”

This clarification comes after reports stated that Teja Sajja was no longer a part of Jai Hanuman, with speculations focusing on the limited duration of his role in the sequel. According to these reports, the actor is said to be prioritizing the sequels of Zombie Reddy and Mirai, both backed by People Media Factory, and was actively involved in script discussions for those projects.

Jai Hanuman was officially announced by director Prashant Verma as a sequel focusing on the character of Lord Hanuman. The film has been made on a grand scale and stars Rishabh Shetty in the lead role. The project is being produced by Naveen Yerneni and Y Ravi Shankar of Mythri Movie Makers and is part of the Prashant Varma Cinematic Universe (PVCU).

Meanwhile, Teja Sajja has emerged as one of the most consistent young actors in Telugu cinema after the success of Hanuman and Mirai. The actor was last seen in Mirai, written and directed by Karthik Gattamaneni, which also starred Manchu Manoj, Shriya Saran, Jagapathi Babu, Jayaram and Ritika Nayak.
