Tecno Pova Slim 5G launched in India, thin design and 5160mAh battery brings for Rs 19,999
The Tecno Pova Slim is the thinnest 5G phone with a thickness of 5.95 mm and a curved performance at a weight of 156g. It comes with military grade MIL-STD 810H protection.
Tecno has launched what it says, Powa Slim, the world’s thinnest phone in India. The handset brings a smooth and mild design to the midst smartphone segment.
However, the thinnest phone label comes with a catch. The Tecno Pova Slim is the thinnest 5G phone for a curved performance. The device has a thickness of 5.95 mm, slightly higher than the 5.8 mm of the Samsung Galaxy S25 edge.
This device is lighter than the S25 edge than the S25 edge than the weight of 163 grams of Samsung.
The screen is 6.78 inch FHD+ AMOLED with the 144Hz refresh rate. The display gets Corning Gorilla Glass 7i Protection. The display has a top glow of 4,500nits.
Powa Slim has a unique rear camera module with LED strip connecting two cameras. The Tecno strip is called a dynamic mood light, which can highlight the calls or information.
Despite the slim design, the Tecno Pova Slim gets military grade MIL-STD 810H protection with an IP64 rating for dust and water resistance.
Powa Slim gets a 5,160mAh battery with support for 45W fast charging. It is larger than a 3,900mAh S25 edge battery pack.
Under the hood, the handset is operated by MediaTek Demistance 6400 SOC. In the same segment, rival phones come with better chipset, such as Destrament 7400 with Moto G86.
The Tecno Pova Slim has a dual rear camera set-up, a 50-megapixel main sensor and a 2-megapixel auxiliary lens. The selfie camera is a 13-megapixel unit.
The handset comes with Ella AI of Tecno, which is a personal accessory with the support of Indian languages. Powo Slim gets features such as AI writing, AI image editing, circle to search and privacy blurring.
Pova Slim 5G+ is a 5G device with support for carrier aggregation.
Tecno pova slim price and variant
Pova Slim comes in a single 8GB/128GB version. However, 8GB is supported for virtual RAM. The device comes in three colors, sky blue, slim white and cool black.
Tecno Pova Slim is priced at Rs 19,999. The handset will first go on sale on Flipkart at 12 noon on September 8. Offline sales will begin the next day at Tecno’s retail partners.
