Employees with more than 15 years of service, whose skills have become meaningless, can get salary up to two years. TCS is also providing assistance for career infections, including agency fees and coverage for three months, while in select cases, employees may have access to mental health assistance through the company’s “TCS Cars” program. Early retirement is also being given to employees who are eligible, with additional disconnections on the basis of tenure and providing full retirement benefits.

The CEO of TCS described the first reorganization as “one of the most difficult decisions” of his career. The report states that most of the workforce changes were implemented in August and September, only a few employees are still being assessed for alternative roles within the company.
