Pop icon Taylor Swift’s oldest friend, Abigail Anderson Berard, has announced that she is expecting her first child with her husband Charles “Charlie” Berard. The happy news was shared in an Instagram post on July 24, 2024, to which Anderson Berard included a fun and cute caption.
“I’m gonna have his baby…” Anderson Berard wrote, citing lyrics from Swift’s song “But Daddy I Love Him” from her popular album The Tortured Poets Department.
The announcement was accompanied by a photo of Anderson Berard proudly showing off her growing baby bump while enjoying Cheez-Its. The soon-to-be mom is a longtime member of the Swifty gang and their relationship dates back to their high school days, when Swift wasn’t a world-famous celebrity.

Taylor Swift talked about her bond with Abigail Anderson Berard during an interview on The Oprah Winfrey Show. “I have a lot of friends who do what I do. On the first day of my first year of school, we were sitting next to each other talking in English,” Swift said.
Anderson also inspired the coming-of-age track Fifteen from Swift’s 2008 album Fearless.
