A few weeks ago, a video of Karan Aujla getting angry at a fan during a London concert went viral. The clip showed someone in the audience throwing a shoe at him while he was performing live on stage. Recently, in a conversation with NDTV, the Tauba Tauba singer reacted to that unfortunate incident. He said that he always believes in treating his fans with respect because it is because of them that he is where he is today.
However, this tendency to throw weird things on stage is “not in our culture” and is not our way of showing appreciation. “I only ask for respect; Not just for me, but for every artist who comes on that stage,’ Karan told the publication. Recalling the said incident, the White Brown Black singer said that he was performing on stage and giving his 100% and suddenly this happened.
Sharing his views on the matter he further said that as artistes, they put their heart and soul into every performance and want to create memories for the audience. But, it’s not just about me because any artiste deserves basic respect when they’re performing. Although there are some people who indulge in such activities, most of his supporters show love in the right way and he is grateful for that. Karan concluded, “They sing, dance, enjoy the music – that’s what matters.”
Karan Aujla came into limelight when his song Tauba Tauba from the Bollywood film Bad News became popular among fans. The 2024 comedy film stars Vicky Kaushal, Trupti Dimri and Ammy Virk in lead roles.
