Shares of Tata Power Company Limited traded on BSE at 11:21AM (IST) on Friday at Rs. 434.6, which was 0.84 percent higher than the previous close.

Scripps raised Rs. 230.75 with a 52-week low of Rs. It showed a high of 470.85.

A gap up opening was seen in the shares earlier in the morning.

A total of 515,797 lakh shares were exchanged over the counter till 11:21AM (IST).

The market value of Tata Power Company Limited shares is Rs. 138949.34 crore, according to BSE.

The stock traded at a price-to-earnings (P/E) multiple of 37.61, while the price-to-book value ratio was 3.89. Return on equity (ROE) was 11.42 percent, according to exchange data.

In the BSE500 pack, 350 stocks traded in the green, while 149 stocks were in the red.

The stock’s beta value, which measures volatility relative to the broader market, stood at 1.73.

Promoter/FII holding
As on 30-Jun-2024, promoters hold 46.86 per cent stake in Tata Power Company Ltd. while foreign portfolio investors and domestic institutional investors own 9.51 per cent and 7.24 per cent respectively.

The stock’s 200-DMA on August 30 was 391.18, while the 50-DMA was 431.38. If a stock trades below the 50-DMA and 200-DMA, it usually means that the immediate trend is up. On the other hand, if the stock trades below the 50-DMA and 200-DMA, it is considered a bearish trend and if it trades between the 50-DMA and 200-DMA, it indicates that the stock can go either way. .
