Actor Lalit Manchanda is known for his roles in popular TV shows such as Tarak Mehta’s Ulta Chashmah and Crime Petrol, on Monday, were found dead at his residence in Meerut, Uttar Pradesh. The news of his death was confirmed by the Cine and TV Artists Association (Sinta).
Sinta shared a post at the loss of Instagram Morching Manchandani. The post read in the post, “Sinta expressed her condolences on the death of Lalit Manchanda (member since 2012).”

A NDTV report said that he acted in supporting roles in many Bollywood films and TV shows and recently working on a web series. He was also known for his role as a father in the love story of DD National and appeared in the shows like India’s Most Wanted and Yeh Rishta Kya Kehalata Hai.
According to Amar Ujala, Lalit was struggling financially in Mumbai and went back to Meerut with his family about six months ago. He was 36 years old at the time of his death. Lalit had made a career in television with showcase in various popular shows, which had a mark with his performance.
